Team members compete at every level from intro to CCI2**. Our team is a fun, safe, learning community for all levels of Collegiate Riders and Eventers! Each rider uses either their own horse or a leased horse in team lessons, schoolings, clinics, and competitions. While not all the team competes, we regularly travel to Woodside, Twin Rivers, Fresno County Horse Park, Woodland Stallion Station, and as far as Galway Downs and Shepherd Ranch for competitions.

Meet Our Officers
Olivia (Lulu) Sieling, President
4th year Animal Science Major, English Minor
Horse: Charlie Boy (Charlie) - 7 year old OTTB, evented through 1*
Lulu started her equestrian career by following in her parents’ footsteps in the discipline of endurance. After the hundreds of miles she spent on the trail, Lulu decided to teach her endurance horse, Ricco, how to jump and soon after joined her local pony club. With the help of her trainer, Elisabeth Mehner, she was soon introduced to the sport of Three Day Eventing in 2010. With her next mount, Gesundheit Cafu, Lulu was able to win the 2014 USEA Junior Novice National Title with Cafu being the 2014 USEA Novice National Horse of the year. Next she moved up the levels with trainer Deborah Rosen and competed at Preliminary and one star level with her next horse, Georgio Armani. Lulu recently bought a young off the track thoroughbred, Charlie Boy, with goals to teach him the ropes of eventing. She is truly excited to be co-President for the team and hopes to pass down her knowledge of the sport and help others achieve their goals.
Christina Perea- Event Coordinator
3rd Year Animal Science Major
Horse: Reviving Ophelia (Fifi), 2008 Holsteiner Hanovarian Mare, evented through Novice.
Christina has been riding since she was 7 years old. She started out as a Hunter/Equitation rider and didn't find Eventing until her second year of high school. Since then she has fallen in love with the sport. She started an event team for her high school in Mt. Pleasant, Utah and helped build Skyline Horse Park with introductory to preliminary fences; as well as, put on USEA recognized events. Her first year eventing she placed 1st in three out of five of events in which she competed. She is currently competing at the Novice Level with her horse Fifi. In 2017 she brought Fifi with her to UC Davis and boards her at the UC Davis Equestrian Center. Both Christina and Fifi have been enjoying their time at UC Davis and are excited for the upcoming show season.

The team trains under Holly Fox (Fox Farms) and Alana Curtis (Sunfire Equestrian Center). The team frequently brings in a variety of upper-level riders such as Lauren Billy's, Dom Schramm and Hawley Bennett to help broaden and refine all our skills as riders
Holly has been with the team since its creation. and has competed at the 5* level from coast to coast in the U.S. and internationally including competing at Rolex in Kentucky. Holly started riding at age 8 and she has been hooked ever since. Shortly after graduating from college, Holly was selected to be the Olympic test rider for the 1984 Fairbanks Ranch cross country course on her hot TB mare "Mo". Over the next several years, she was also selected for three USET winter training sessions on three different advanced level horses with both Jack Le Goff and Captain Mark Phillips where she gained invaluable classical methods of training. In addition to actively competing in eventing Holly also cross-trains in the jumper and dressage ring earning her Bronze medal in 2017. In addition to coaching the event team, Holly is one of the UC Davis Equestrian Center's Program Coordinators.
Alana has been riding since she was two years old and began competing in Hunter/Jumpers at the age of six. In 1991, at the age of 13, Alana bought a 5-year-old Thoroughbred/Quarterhorse named Sunny and began eventing him at Novice. Alana and Sunny quickly rose through the levels, completing many Preliminary and CCI* competitions throughout California, Oregon, and Arizona. Alana and Sunny were selected to compete at Young riders but were unable to compete to do an injury, upon rehabbing Sunny they schooled through the Advanced level until he was retired. Alana has since shifted her focus to starting young horses and giving OTTB's second careers after racing.
